Tonneau cover failure

    I have a 2 year old tonneau cover purchased with the Tundra from the dealership that came apart where it was adhered to the outside strip. The dealership told me there were no options to fix it and I would need to replace it as the warranty was only one year.
    I was curious if I have recourse as I can’t see buying another and replacing it in two years.

    I would push this with the dealer for resolution. Toyota's policy is any Toyota accessory installed on the vehicle at the time of purchase carries the same 36 Month / 36k warranty. If installed AFTER the sale, then the warranty is one year. Is the tonneau a toyota product?

    It is; however it was replaced after 1 year due to hail damage. I’m over 3 years with the vehicle and 2 years with the Tonneau.
