0C0A843E-1B68-432E-A9D0-CF22032895BE.jpg Hi everyone. I am new to the 2nd generation Tundra’s, and I just got out of an 04 double cab into an 07 double cab. I’m changing up a few things and was looking to buy new tires.

I apologize if this is a repetitive question and have tried searching but I’m not the best at understanding size/offset etc.

The picture attached is of the Truck sitting on XD 20” with Federal Couragia MT 33x12.50-20

I now have XD FMJ 20x9 wheels with 0 offset. Can I fit 35s (Nitto Mud Grapplers) on this set up? I also have a 2” lift. I was thinking 35x12.50-20. In the picture below the truck looks like I have the room and I want to fill the gap. Aside from the wheels That’s one thing I hated was the gap between the fender and the tire.

I have already removed some of the panels and I had absolutely no rub with the previous set up. I don’t mind trimming, but I don’t want to butcher it either.

    thanks in advance

35s will rub and you will have to do the body mount chop mod where you cut off a section of the body mount for the front two tires and weld a piece of plate steel to keep the integrity of the body mount. I think 33s look nice with mud terrain. I have a 2 inch lift with 33x12.50r18 all terrains no rub with full tread and keep a little better mpgs vs the 35s. And honestly don’t want to do a body mount chop because I don’t like doing hard work anymore lol

Appreciate the reply. I don’t want to do that much work it’s not worth it if I’m having to cut and weld. I will end up sticking with 33s then. Just wanted to fill the gap as the last tires looked like street tires really thin for MT

That’s just my opinion but 35s do look nice too and give more clearance. And there are threads that show exactly how to do the body mount chop. I think I saw someone use JB weld to glue the plate steel on instead of actually welding it too but that would be something that’s be up to you

it will rub and you will need body mount chop. Really bare minium is 3" with bmc. But ill also say its my favorite.

I have 6inch with zero offset and i like the stance

Thank you for all the input. Is there a size that is a little taller that might Work? Or is 33 my max?
