I'm currently running "Mud terrains" that came with 16/32 tread depth as new, they're now roughly 13/32 front and 14/32 rear (after rotation) I've been running these tires for roughly 20k miles now with out issue. But most recently I've noticed my Traction control kicking in more aggressively than normal or what I'm use to... My question is has anyone one else had similar issues with Traction control acting more aggressively in correlation to tire wear?

[Situations] mostly has been happening in corners while in the rain, [normally] I'll ease into the brake , hard-press with a roll off the brake squatting into the corner and ease roll in of the throttle.
[whats now happening] I'll ease into the brake , as I start to hard press The Traction control light freaks outs it screams its beeps at me, the ABS starts pulsating and the Tundra doesn't want respond to input it just goes into "don't crash as hard mode"

[side note] the ease into brake is prep and control for the hard-press, the Hard-press is not panic stopping but the motion for actually wanting to to bring speed down and is also still in the straight of the road not in the corner its self.

the only variables I can think of is either every wet corner is slicked with oil, or the tire wear trigging something in rotational tire speed. The corners are nothing new to my travels nor the method of taking said corners in the same weather conditions. :monocle:

As your tires wear they won't have as good of grip and will spin out easier which kicks in the traction control. Every set of all terrains I've had gets real bad in the rain after about 30-40,000 miles.

Most MTs have poor traction on road and especially rain compared to AT or all season tires, little to no siping on the tread, as MT has big voids and lugs. One of the trade offs of running MT. Add the 20k+ miles and yes, bet you are seeing some loss of grip.
