Hey guys! So I want to do a little tire talk. I currently have Falken Wildpeak AT3Wa tires on my truck, which isn’t the version I wanted but was available at the time. These AT3Wa’s are LT275/65r18 6 ply with S speed rating (up to 112 mph). I really don’t need a LT tire for the time being.

The actual tire I want and will be ordering soon are the AT3W P-rated tires w/ T rated speed (up to 118mph). The AT3W has the more aggressive tread pattern that I want and is more off-road like than the AT3Wa. Honestly, I feel like the 3Wa sucks and they spin pretty easily when I drive through an intersection that has sand or rocks. The wet traction is still good and I also feel that I lost a bit of acceleration with these tires compared to the old p-rated Toyo tires I used to have. The 3W has higher revs per mile than the 3Wa and the diameter is only slightly smaller. Now that I’ll be switching to the one that I want, will I get better acceleration or top end speed? Does revs per mile have an affect?
