Long time thread lurker, first time owner here. 2wd 2016 SR5 double cab TSS off-road package. Bought with worn tires and need new ones. First time buying tires and it’s a lot of info to take in. Mostly highway driving, light towing of boat, northeast weather. Currently 285/55r20. Looking to fit larger tires, along the looks of 35s on my 20” stock rims. Want more ground clearance and a beefier look. Any advice is appreciated!! I understand I’ll have to lift/level (advice please), remove mud flap, etc. but would like to keep the removing material to a minimum. Will all be shop work. I would prefer to keep the 20” rims, maybe add spacers too. Anything helps!

To fit 35's, other than the lift, you need to know your wheel's offset. They will need to be in the 0mm - +10mm offset range to begin with.

welcome. check out here first and dig around a bit. you'll find lots of options. https://www.tundras.com/forums/wheels-tires.18/
also, wheel offset on your wheels is +50. i've seen people run those with 35s before, so there are possibilities with what you have by adding lifts/leveling kits
