I have a 2014 SR5 with a 2.5 inch leveling kit with stock wheels. I want to go with some Moto Metal 18x9 +18 offset wheels. I was told 275/70 18 is the biggest I can go. I would like a little bit bigger tire but don't want to deal with modifications for rubbing issues. Does anyone know the max tire size with no rubbing?

295/70r18 should fit but you might have to remove the forward mudflaps and might have to mess around with the plastic front bumper liner a little to get rid of all rubbing. +25 offset seems to be the sweet spot for these trucks. Will stick far even out to push away from the UCA and skid plate but not far enough out to cause issues with rubbing on the bumper or body mount.

I have a 2016 SR5 with Bilstein 5100s on the top setting. 2 inches or a hair more of front lift in the front. My wheels are 18x9 +18 offset. I'm running 275/70 tires and they rub in front of and behind the front tires both. I was able to take a heat gun and remold the splash guard behind the tire and make that part stop rubbing, but the front still rubs the bumper when I turn. Sounds like the truck is being ripped apart.

So, technically the largest you can go is 275/65R18.

If you want to start modifying and cutting, the sky is the limit.

I have a 14 SR5 w/295s on and a 2.4" lift in front. It works with some molding of the liner.
