I am switching to 17” method bead grips with 0 offset. I need help choosing tires as I don’t want to rub. Thinking BFG KO3, but what size?

I have a 3” front 2” rear lift kit from Readylift. I have a Rough Country bumper that allows a little more room than the stock. Wheel well liners are already gone and I don’t mind chopping plastic if need be. How big can I go without needing a BMC?

    Thanks yall!

    Mild 285/70r17 or spicy 315/70r17.

285/75/17 on mine ( 34'' ) comparable lift to you , but 35 off-set on method's also : No Rubs at all ! I'm guessing you can go a little bigger if you really want , but cant tell on 0 off set whats rubbing or not !

I was debating the 35 offset too, but want them to stick out a little bit. Do you have pics of your set up?

Same here on Fuel Vectors with what I believe to be 5" BS and 07mm off-set (per Fuel website as I did not purchase/install the wheels/tires).

I will likely stay with the same size tire when they get replaced and go with AT3's or Baja Boss.

Yes look on my topic in the Suspension section, theres is a couple pics :)

I choose 35 offset because they are perfect and dont stick out too-much. i drive too much gravel road and salt/calcium roads ! Even with my fender flair the +35 stick out too much, so i added big ass ugly mud flaps.

Also 0-offset rubs more on full lock-steering , so i'm pretty sure +35's can wrap bigger tires with less rubbing then 0 off set, but thats just me :)

Just ordered 285/75/17 Wildpeak AT4’s and Matte Black Methods 316 (decided against bead grips) 17 inch 0 offset. Thanks for the help on the tire size, I think these will be perfect!

Looks nice! Do they rub with that tire size and 0 offset? Did you have to mod/cut? BMC?

No rubbing. I used to have 35’s on a couple tire sets ago so I’ve already removed the wheel liner but that’s about it. I have a 3” front a 2” rear lift/level kit.

You want +35 offset :p. 0 will rub fore-aft unless you get a puny tire. 315/70r17 is a good size.
