Tire Pressure Light

Maybe a dumb question, but is there a way to change the tire pressure warning light? I’m running 38/13.50R20 MT’s and after a while my tire light comes on. It’s actually coming on bc I think the pressure is too high.

or should I be running a lower tire pressure?

 

The light will not come on if the pressure is too high. It comes on if it is low or if a battery is dead. Are they the original sensors?

 

I believe they are original, but I just got the truck last year.

they’re definitely not too low, so it must be a battery or connection issue.

I had assumed it was getting warm and pressure was too high. It normally only comes on when I’m driving for longer distances on the highway.

I’m looking to add the aftermarket sensors that communicate with my Dasaita radio soon to help out.

Check the spares pressure

 

No spare. Not sure I could fit that size spare without modifications?

 

Yes it could be the battery. 9 to 10 years is the average lifespan.
