1.You must burp the coolant to remove all the air out of the system
    2. FIPG is great stuff for the housing, 17.00 for one seal. We should create a "pay it forward" where the new guy pays for shipping to use .01 oz and sends it to the next guy
    3. 1A auto videos are spot on. should watch them through in their entirety before doing the job.
    4. Amazon parts are cheaper but they sent me the wrong accessory belt so had to return that and go to autozone and buy one for much more dollars as I was not going to wait.
    5. As I was told but the videos don't share, once you have the belts aligned and start to turn the engine to double check all is well, that alignment goes away. Luckily I was told that in advance as it can freak one out.
    6. using plastic bags with a label inside makes things tidy for each part removed.
    7. Tightening the harmonic balancer is a bitch without the crank tool. I made one per the video with a 2x4 which split in two as I was torquing. I then made one out of a 2x6 which held but I still bent the bolts holding to the harmonic balancer but acheived the 180ft lbs of torque.
    8. Ryobi impact wrench worked great and I got it at a steal at home depot for removing harmonic balancer.
    9. Plan on 3 gallons of coolant, I got the Asian at wallly mart
    10. This jobs takes some time to complete. go slow, follow the video and it is not hard with exception of the harmonic balancer torquing.
    11. My new belt went on easily to the cam sprockets, the !A guy struggles, not sure why.

Good write up, looks like you learned all the usual things from this job. Glad you got your truck back together and you are good for another 100k :)
