    Hi everyone,

I am doing my timing belt and having issues getting the cams to align to the T when putting the belt back on. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of what everything looked like when I took it off, but I set the crank to TDC before taking the belt off and I thought I remembered the cams lining up at the T's right on the dot.

Right now, they're off to the right just a tad and that's with zero slack between the crank/idler/L Cam and L cam/Water Pump pulley/R Cam. There is some slack between the R Cam/Tensioner/Crank.

I have no idea what to make of this besides the timing belt not being the right length. I am using the AISIN TKT-021 timing belt kit which everyone seems to swear by so I'd be surprised if that's it.

This is not my first rodeo so I didn't think I'd have trouble here but I am confused as shit and really need help because I'm supposed to take this truck on a 2 week road trip in 5 days. I would really appreciate if anyone has any idea what's going on or can tell me that I can just send it like that and I'll be OK.
