My 2015 tundra with 133k miles is starting to seep grease out of the lower ball joints. I’m thinking it’s time to replace them all. My question is should I replace just the ball joints themselves or buy new upper and lower control arms with the new ball joints already installed?? Any brands to stay away from? I will likely replace the tie rod ends as well. Then take it in for an alignment.

LBJs are easy to replace with a ball joint tool. I bought the one at HF and also bought the longer clamp cuz the one that comes with the kit is too short.

Replace your LBJs if all else down there looks fine in the LCA. LCA replacements are expensive and you'll also need new CAM bolts to go with them (which many people claim should be OEM bolts or bust). Get the Beck Arnley ball joints or any 3rd party that uses 555 Senkei as the actual manufacturer. UBJs would be either Beck Arnley or AC Delco, unless you want to go aftermarket UCA. If going aftermarket, the JBA UCAs are really nice and have very easily serviceable UBJs for them.
