Does anyone else have this issue? I cannot turn the truck off, get out, close the door and then lock it right away. It has the smart handles which won’t lock it right away. But it won’t lock right away on the key fob either. It worked for the first month but now it just stopped all the sudden. Not sure if I changed a setting accidentally or what. Any ideas or anyone else experiencing this?

Did you change your rear cab light bulbs to LEDs?

Yes I did. Now that you mention it I vaguely remember hearing something about that affecting things, wasn’t it remote start though? My remote start works perfectly.

It causes interference with the antenna for remote lock/unlock. You should put the original bulbs back in, or turn off the exterior cab lights via the switch.

Oh ok. Thanks for the input I will try that out and see if it’s what’s causing it!

The LED bulbs from HR revolution are specifically made to not have that problem. I have them in my 2020 and no issues at all.

I think Vleds has that issue too and are doing a redesign IIRC.

I’ll probably order some if that turns out to be the issue. Thanks.

Just to clarify, it is the cargo bed lights at the top exterior of the cab correct?

Thanks for the help guys. Just to let anyone else having this issue know, I tried to just leave the cargo light switch off when opening doors and stuff and sure enough it works like it should! I think I’ll just leave that switch off and only turn it on when I need it.
