So my "general" settings for time in the head unit are Central Time, Daylight Savings ON. Time by GPS ON. So why is it still an hour ahead?

Uncheck the Daylight Savings on and it will go to correct time. Did mine yesterday and all is good again

Pretty sure its because the radio only looks like a modern radio but actually is not.

I thought about that, but seemed odd. I figured with a switch like that it would account for both time changes automatically. Oh well, thanks for showing me the way!

It's not weird. Daylight saving time ended on Sunday and thus the setting for it needs to be turned off. Doesn't seem like rocket surgery to me.

All I can say is today my trucks clock was at the correct time, and no input from me.

Wait a minute... maybe my brain is scrambled from work today, but why would you stop saving daylight in the months with the least of it available? :notsure: I suddenly feel the need to get another drink. :burp:

That was one thing I used to like about living in Indiana, but they've gone mad and changed that since we left.

There is a setting, at least in the 2020's that tells it whether to automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time. I remember seeing it when I was learning the truck, but I can't remember exactly where it was. Frankly, I wish everyone would agree to just stay on Daylight Savings Time year round and make that feature obsolete.

Damn straight we did! That along with many other things that keep us a great free State.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to load a few high capacity mags for my AK.

I grew up in AZ. Didn't appreciate it fully until I moved to TX. Now I'm in AK, and we do DST here. Explain that one to me. It's bright 24 hours a day in summer and we only get about 5 1/2 hours of sunlight in the winter. But we still change our clocks.

I was up in AK in 2012. DST up there is quite odd indeed.

Guess what I found today? The "AUTO" selection for DTS... using that corrected the time. Go figure. DERP! :duh:

I'll show myself the way out now.
