I was told by a tire shop that my tie rods were seized. Just bought the tundra 2 days ago. Private sale.
We know the previous owner is in hospital and the truck was not driven for a long time. Trucked picked up at tire shop at closing and we have no details. Mileage is 105,000 kms.

You probably should have had a trusted mechanic check it out before purchasing the truck. Could they be seized? Sure. Now have a shop look at it to see if that is the case.

Can you steer? Live in the north? Flat rate tire shop probably isn't the most knowledgable.

The truck feels like new. Steering feels great.
Very low mileage( 65,000 miles). We know the truck has been sitting for quite awhile.
Previous owner gravely I’ll and in hospital.
A friend was selling truck for him. Normally
would have had it checked out , but nearly
got into a bidding war with another buyer
there at time of sale. Will be calling tire
shop in the a.m. , and speaking to a Toyota dealer.

They probably just mean they can’t adjust them because the nuts are too rusty. Soak them in PB blaster.

If the jam nuts are siezed, it's gonna take a torch to heat them. Penatrating oils don't work very well on those. The torch does not hurt the nuts. It's common.

Are you sure they didn't say cam bolts are siezed? That is a much bigger problem.
