So I just had the sparks replaced and the tranny fluid changed and have noticed a ticking sound from engine - appears to be from passenger side. Check engine light not on and told no misfires.
The ticking only happens intermittently and as far as I can tell does not happen at RPM. Before I bring it in to The Truck Shop Im wondering if anybody has experienced this? 120K on her and she ran like a charm thus far.

I think there is a bracket on the firewall that is there to hold some lines that has been known to come loose and cause noise. Since there has been work it the area that bracket may have been disturbed. Hopefully others more familiar with this somewhat common problem will elaborate further.

I will be very happy if that's it. I'll take a look in a few. Thanks for the info.
