Hey guys, about 2 weeks ago my 04 Tundra 4.7L threw a rod while driving on some dirt roads. I wasn't doing anything crazy but it happened just as I was getting on the throttle while going through a puddle. No prior noise, no rod knock. Haven't had any oil pressure issues, just changed the oil about 1000 miles prior. It had 154k miles. Maybe it's just a bad turn of luck but there's one thing that's been bothering me, I just had the timing belt/water pump changed by a fairly reputable mechanic because I didn't want to hassle with it myself. I know this has an interference engine so is there any possibility this is related?
