    Done some digging and can’t find a thread with my specific “lack” of symptoms.

    No codes.

    While rolling, accelerator won’t get above 2200RPM.

    From a stop, will go wide open,
    4k+ (1st gear?).

    Transmission and throttle accelerate fine with cruise control.

    Tow-Haul doesn’t change anything

    Reaching out because I would think if it was the pedal assembly it would throw a code.

    I would assume the 5.7 and 4.6 Throttle body hoses are similar, but I'd take a look at that hose that sticks out from the block and tucks under the throttle body. When you open the hood dead center at the top there is a hose that curves inward, check if it's damaged or has a hole in there. I started having some weird throttle responses, delayed, disconnected feeling or surge like throttle. If it's damaged, then there's probably your issue, you will need a throttle body gasket, otherwise it will whistle while you work. Hope this helps

    @blackdemon_tt, appreciate the response.

    I prodded around the hose looking for any sign of damage; it was an AZ truck for about 8yrs so it makes sense the hoses could be dried and worn out. Didn’t see anything obvious.

    additionally, had the oil changed.

    Afterwards the issue is gone. I suspect it’ll be back.
