I am about to install new Coilovers and UCA’s on my 2012 CM. Watched lots of videos on doing this and see a lot of people using thread locker when installing. As I’ve tried to research this, I get conflicting info on using it. So, does anyone know from experience if it should be used or not, and if so what strength? Any help would be much appreciated as I plan on installing this weekend.

Red thread locker is permanent--requires lots of heat to loosen up and remove with any success. Blue thread locker is removable and is what I would choose. Blue will hold tight, but still allows for removal at a later time.
Often times , the use of the red will ruin threads at removal if lots of heat not used.

I usually do a dab of blue for anything that gets shaken and beat on. Not trying to make it a bitch to come off, but enough to stop the nut or bolt vibrating loose.

Shouldn't, but it's easy and cheap insurance is my philosophy.
