    Good morning everyone,
I've been hunting for a gen 1 or 2 for a while now that is first and foremost mechanically been taken care of/in good shape and within budget after having my last vehicle totaled by a kid who was texting and driving.
In short, another one popped up in my area I'm going to check out tomorrow, but feel its a smidge high. Local dealer, purchased from auction. Has some records on the auto check, they've replaced the condenser, blower, rear and front pads (probably why they have it listed where they do). If all goes well (looking for no lifter ticks/piston slap, slips, etc), do y'all feel this is what they should be asking? I only ask from what I see on KBB which shows it closer to 9500/10000, especially with it having a "moderate" accident listed and some other listings that are too far away or can't get to in time. They've had it for about 20 weeks which raises my eyebrow a bit. TYIA https://www.sekushiautosales.com/view-autocheck-report/?vin=5TFRV54167X014673&dcid=19541227

Moderate accident, I would request the record from the State Troopers or local police department, as they've made an accurate record on it. It wasn't totaled, so repair may have not been as bad, but I'd request the report and get the low down. Stealership will always inflate prices, just trade in a vehicle and compare how much they gave you vs how much they're selling it for.

At the same time you can always wait and find another one with no accidents and maybe less miles.

Nothing beats tire kicking...looks like a decent risk, though...no experience with the 5.7, my 07 SR5 has the 4.7.
