If I had enough cash I could probably make a promo video that would make dirty diapers look bad ass.

Big 3 dont want it to last long anymore. These Manufacturers have facelifts out every 4 years now cause they dont want u to keep the same truck.

    New era economy

Make a Down payment, Finance/lease & make payments. Warranty runs out get a new one. Roll the equity if any into the down payment. Payments starts again. Same cycle over and over. Dealers dont like u if u pay cash cause they don't get a kick back.

Toyota is obselete and dinosaur where their cars and trucks lasts. They dont change things quickly until they know it will last a decade.

The cold knot implosion, causes all logical and critical thinking to cease.

People here are grown ups right? I know we’re all in the cool tundra club but what’s the point of crapping on other truck brands in a circle jerk all the time haha. At least Ford and other companies are trying to make capable Offroad trucks off the lot.

I enjoyed the video, but I'm one of those who's easily entertained. I hope the new Ford Ranger is a decent, reliable truck. I'm a Toyota fan and think competition will only benefit Toyota into making an even better Tacoma to compete against it.

I liked my Ranger till the transmission split at 90,000 miles. Loved my Tacoma but this ranger does look tougher. We will see how it works out. :mudding:

Just to be clear, i wasnt trying to sh!t on ford with this thread, just wanted to see how yall felt about it. I personally love chevy’s (come from a chevy family) and have not seen any of the problems that are talked about in these forums when the big 3 are brought up. I also really want a ford raptor. Those things are sick af, despite what people say. I have interest in all cars and trucks, dont suck any of them off.

I know you weren’t. I chimed in for all the “but it’s a Ford” posts. Meanwhile full size truck sale numbers speak for themselves

Meanwhile Toyota is basically selling the same truck they sold in 2007

The big 3 and toyota can do whatever they want in regards to making a capable off road truck off the lot. There will always be a niche clientel for their trucks. Half the fun of owning an off-road truck is building it to your likes and needs. I personally would never buy a raptor, trail boss, zr2, power wagon, or trd pro. I prefer building, not buying.

Again, in yet another Raptor thread I will say I think they are bad ass. But, to damn expensive and I’m not sold on Ford quality right now. One thing that would be great is there would really be no need to mod the thing and all of the engineered geometry would stay as designed.
I’m happy with my Tundra and I buy Toyota because they have yet to let me down. They aren’t the most tech savvy ride out there but they are affordable, powerful and reliable with excellent resale and I bought mine with the intention of keeping it at least 10 years and IMO if that is a persons mindset there is no better decision than Toyota.
