Was at a school function for my son, and happened to get lucky enough to be able to park right next to the front door.

As I was leaving, I looked at the roof of my truck, just forward of the raised line on the roof. It almost looks like a weak point or something allows the roof to sink in a bit… but it’s also possible this is normal. What say ye? Either way, I don’t know that I’m too worried about it.

Did you have snow build-up sitting on there at one point?

The roofs are shockingly flimsy from the outside - guess there's no reason to expect otherwise, but I've had to go out a window a few times and an elbow on the thing will depress halfway across. Good news is it should be easy enough to access to pop back.

I mean, we just got 8-10" of snow, so EVERYONE had snow build-up, for a day or two.

With that said, yeah, I figured it wasn't normal...but it's not a huge deal that I can see. I've got a call in to the local PDR guy and we'll see what he says on Monday.

Just saw this, went out in the garage to look at my truck. The way it's situated I can only see the driver side roof, but I see the same dimple that is apparent in your photo. This would lead me to believe it's normal, or at least not damage after the fact.

Not normal. It's a dent. I made a similar dent on both my Tundra's hand washing the roof. Thin metal up there. Not a big deal. Out of sight, out of mind thing.

Ok, took the extra effort to view the passenger side. Same as the driver's side, I'm sticking with normal.

That said it's not really that noticeable if not viewed from an angle and will be more noticeable with darker colors. My truck is black....

Which is why I don’t, really.

    1. Right rear bumper.
    2. Left rear, side of bed (so small you almost can’t see it.)
    3. Roof.

My wife was super upset when it got its first dent. I was like “….we live down a gravel road. WTH did you expect?”

Try stepping on the wheel wells in the bed, was loading some big boxes from Costco and went to step on the top of the wheel well to adjust tie down straps and with light pressure the top of the well sank in. Luckily it popped right back up when I took my foot off, thought to myself "that's pretty lame"!
