This is a problem i have no clue how to fix....

rear window hasnt shut automatically since i bought it. now i know why. snapped cable on the opening side. anyone got any ideas would be greatly appreciated...can i replace the cable? how? do i need the whole motor?

@Roman any idea what parts i may need?

The motor seems fine. With that being said, is the ONLY part I need the first one u posted

The one motor says its $28 the other is 200 something. I'm just wondering if I need the regulator and motor or just the regulator, as they are different part numbers in your second photo. Doesnt seem like the motor is included in your first

 

That’s just the regulator. Can you confirm your motor works? It’s just the fact that the cable to close the window is broken? I would think the regulator would be all you need. Wish mine had that option!

 

talked to my buddy who works at toyota, he said in his 26 years its the first hes seen, so hes unsure. it really seems like the motor works fine. it turns. i dont wanna force anything but its getting decent movement. guess ill try n order a regulator tuesday

 

I've only ever sold the regulator for the back window on those. It's not common, but has happened. I don't think I've ever sold the motor.
