    Hello Tundra crew,
Long story short I've ended up with the Main Line Overland shop truck "Silver bullet."
This truck was purchased new and built in 2016 by MLO to be a show truck of sorts. They installed an OME 3" lift, ARB summit bumper for a 2nd gen tundra (paint matched), Warn M12 winch, 17" Evo corse wheels, 35" tires, and Four wheel camper install kit. 00000IMG_00000_BURST20200618170027395_COVER.jpg JAH_0848.jpg PXL_20210105_160521225.MP~2.jpg
We were able to purchase a 2018 FWC Hawk camper to complete this amazing package. This setup has been a game changer for us and we couldn't be happier!

Reviving an old thread here…sorry! But wondering if the OP added MaxxTrax to the FWC roof, and if so where do you find the hardware. Thanks! Love the rig. Putting together a 2021 Tundra DC/FWC Hawk now.

Beware of the lack of support at the front of your truck bed. Apparently the DC lacks framework to support weight at the front of the bed and it eventually has caused some beds to crack. Not good!

2mchfun yes, as much a I am loyal to Toyota and value the reliability….I am really disappointed that they don’t offer a 3/4 ton option. I think I am more disappointed that to get a 3/4 ton truck I have to sacrifice that reliability by buying one of the Big 3 trucks. How can that continue to be the norm?

I guess with enough money it's not a problem! You and I just don't have enough money to overcome this situation! Enjoy your Toyotas!

I went to Home Depot and got some Aluminum tubing and hardware. drilled matching holes in the aluminum bars to the Maxxtrax mounting holes. Used 5/8' carriage bolts mounted through the aluminum bars to support the boards. Each carriage bolt i drilled a hole in the end just big enough to put a lynch pin through to secure the boards to the bolts.
mounted the bars to the factory roof rails. done
