2012 Tundra CM Rock Warrior. Almost 80k miles on it and it runs boringly well. Just put my second set of tires on the truck and have a set of Bilstein 5100's on the way. Plan on driving this thing until the wheels fall off. This is my third Toyota in a row and damn, I love Toyota quality.

That's what I like to hear. Pretty much the same goes for my 2014.

If you’re worried that you’re not spending enough money on the truck I’d be happy to make some suggestions. :D

Agreed! My 2010 Crewmax and 2013 Sequoia have been mostly trouble free. Can't go wrong with a Toyota!

I ordered new rotors and pads for mine, the rear pads came without any shims. When I alerted the supplier to the parts shortage they shipped me a set of rear pads (with shims), which I received within three days, now I won't have to buy rear pads for a very long time.

    Lol funny.

I've been on internet car forums for 15 years, none have been like this one. Some people on this forum are so spoiled driving toyotas. Theyre complaining about all kinds of trivial problems that most people driving other brands would be glad to have is quite entertaining to read sometimes.

My '07 is as reliable as a rock. In a way it's boring, but as i get older it's one less important part of my life that i have to worry about. Wrenching late at night to make it to work on monday gets old.

Hmm, I need to polish my head lights and grease my u joints...

My 16 tundra 73k on it. Bought new in 2016 never an issue. Only the maintenance required light that comes on for an oil change at the most inconvenient times.

Coming up on 34,000 trouble free miles after three years. My last rigs had been in the shop a dozen or more times by this point.

I also own a Tacoma and Highlander that have been as reliable and trouble free as the Tundra

    2013 CM 5.7 4x4 103k miles: our 7th Toyota or so…

Only have had BettyBetty for 6k miles. Doesn’t leak anywhere, has started at -15F, maintenance items are easily addressed, when something goes wrong the procedure to fix will be easy, doesn’t eat brakes guzzle diesel or worry me at all.

This truck gives us as close to total piece of mind as anything we have had. Will keep for the long haul/until our girls are grown and out of the house.

Our '14 4Runner recently turned 70,000 miles. I don't think it's even broken in good yet. Put shocks and tires on it in 2020, and finally had to replace the battery in '21.

Tundra is a baby at 25,000 miles. I did have a leaking rear shock, so replaced both rear shocks.

My biggest stress with these two was when I was without cat shields. Now that I have some protection up underneath I sleep much better at night.

Right now the biggest problem is keeping rust off of my unused tools.

I've been fortunate with my 2014 with 85K miles.
The check engine light has only come on twice in 8 years, once I didn't tighten the gas cap, and the other time my cats were stolen.

    Besides that fairly trouble-free.
I do have a short in my dome light I need to figure out, but it probably has something to do with all my self-installed puddle and footwell light mods.

I think one of the bolts in my driver seat came loose since the seat has a little clunk sometimes. Very concerned about this since the truck only has 282k.

I am also one of the Toyota fans with reason; I have now owned 5 Toyotas in a row that all had more than 100k miles, and not one single problem.
2002 Tacoma I had for 16 years. Not one single issue.
I have had 2 Camrys, 165k miles on one and the 2013 now has 130k miles. It is my son's college car now and he loves it. Just oil changes, tires, brake pads and wiper blades.
Wife's Prius V at 140k now. I wanted to get her a new car but she declines every time; she loves her car.
2018 Tundra had 125k on it when I traded it on the 2022. Also no issues; I really miss that truck.
2022 is now 3 months old and already have 8,000 miles on it.:eek2:

2008, bought at 189,000 km and now at 267,000 km, owned over 6 years, and it’s been maintenance items like shocks, brakes, fluids, serpentine belt, battery. Oh, and headlight bulbs and wiper blades.

And a weeping water pump, front diff needle bearing / ECGS bushing upgrade, and one broken front diff mount bracket bolt that may have been related to the nut behind the wheel and some tough sledding.

Pretty hard to complain about that, so I won’t. :)

My 2008 4.7L is great truck besides the rusted out bed box. Trying to find a 2nd gen white one the last couple of months. Hit me up if you see one. Don't mind paying for shipping or driving a long distance to get a rust free one. Truck would be almost perfect if it didn't have this issue.

Have you considered finding a used bed somewhere? That's what a buddy of mine did on his Tacoma.

Yes. That’s what I’m trying to do. I’d consider buying a whole truck and part it out if the price was right and would never have to worry about parts again.

Replacement be sounds like a great option.

Just be sure to undercoat and spray-in bed liner to keep the new one happy.

Strictly use the orange myself.... of course I couldn't find any last fill, so now there is purple in there. Supposed to eat bugs, but that's not really the issue here.

We'll see how it does at staying liquid once winter really get rolling here.

My '08 is still running strong. Barely at 108,000 miles and has been garaged most of its life. I thought about trading it in spring of '21, but I took one look at pricing and instead took the money I had saved for a down and slapped a 6" lift kit on it, 35s, gears, new stereo, backup cam, new interior. I got enticed again about a month ago and test drove a '22. Sales guy kept trying to convince me that $800-$1000 car payments are the norm now. I happily hopped in my truck and drove away.

Outside of a couple of annoying issues, my 08 with 200k miles doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil.
