The Hunt continues

Hello and thanks to the folks that started and organized this forum....and the ones i'll be learning from. First time Tundra owner after my old reliable F150 died; I followed my son's advice to research the Tundra's.......and here I am. Now I can get back to a terrible addiction.....hunting the night skies and getting the grandkids just as addicted.

Next time you look up at the dark skies and wonder what's really out there......welcome to my world. Maybe we'll cross paths in some 0-1 bortle zone.....i'll be the old guy with the Zhummell. If I know you're joining me....i'll bring the pizza. thanks again.

ps.......and yes my Tundra will be a work truck, getting muddy and dirty. So I'll be gleaning the threads to see how to make it better.

 

Welcome to the forum. What year/generation Tundra are you thinking of picking up?

 

aahhh....already have the truck....2019 limited I got at a very good price. The hunt continues as I can now move my telescope again; I was going into withdrawals!! Still looking for a cap but the tonto will suffice for now

 

Thats cool. I've got a jason 518 that needs some work on one of the fine adjustment brackets, and an electric tracking meade. Excellent hobby when the texas sun is too hot to mess around during the day.

 

excellent!!! should try the viewing when it's 5 degrees F.......whole different world. but you also need a lense warmer lol.......and some high octane anti-freeze. Good to know there's another addict here. Well, there's probably more than a few here
