so far so good. It's not easy getting that big sticker onto the screen without something ending up underneath it (I have one very small spot) but you also get two of them for the price in case you royally screw one up.

I went with the screen protector from trail grid pro. Easy to install and no glare afterwards. I do get a few fingerprint smudges after several days, but a quick swipe with the fiber cloth from the install kit and they are gone. You only get 1 film in their kit, so hopefully it goes on right. I was a bit shocked after the install which left no dirt or bubbles underneath.

I still need to tear it back out to lower the screen to hopefully get rid of the shakes, might as well run a HDMI at the same time.

Turns out my Maestro was F’d, had a very helpful guy from iDatalink diagnose this, as well as get the camera settings on the Pioneer working. Crutchfield overnighted me a new one and everything works perfectly now.

How're you guys getting internet to those little devices? My cell carrier wants some stupid money for a 5G LTE hotspot, though I do have tethering in my plan, I prefer to reserve that bandwidth for workstuff.

Just when I think I have it all down, something confuses me. I can't figure out which oem usb adapter I need:
    AZ-TOYUSB or AZ-TOYUSB-2
2017 non-JBL w/ Nav. One site says the -2 fits, another site says it doesn't but the other does.

I used the AX-TOYUSB for my 2014 non JBL Nav.

WTF? I did not post that as a link to Amazon, in fact I got mine at Critchfield. AI is watching. :eek2:

I’ve been wrestling with mine as well, my 12volts remote start no longer works since install. Been scratching my head on that one, and I know I’m tied into the OBDII with that device. Can’t figure out if it’s related with the Hu install or not

I figured it out I have my truck inspected and they hook up to obd2 which disabled the gauges had to go back into settings and turn it to always enabled then they worked then I switched it back to auto disable and they still are working so I assume hooking up to obd2 port messes with it

I just had that happen with my Alpine. Took the truck to Discount Tire for a flat repair. When I drove off my gauges didn't work, they had unplugged it to hook up and check the TPMS sensors.

I think the Maestro glitches - have you tried a reflash?

Your are correct about reflash but I already fixed it if ya scroll up a few post plugging into obd2 disable it on kenwood when you turn truck off and back in it is supposed to enable it again but I had to go in and manually re-enable it also validate PIDS helps get more gauge options

Lowered the screen and installed this today. Kinda a tight fit (TWSS) but a good fit. Borrowed the Amazon Fire Stick from the bedroom TV and did a quick test using YouTube.
