There's not too much to this truck. I had a four-cylinder powered Tacoma for a little while and then decided that I wanted some more power but a wheelbase that isn't too terribly long. There are times that I wish I had the eight foot bed though. So in December of 2015 I bought this 2008, 4x4, 5.7L powered Regular Cab Tundra for about $20,000.

    Modifications:
    ARB Locking Differential
    3rd Generation Tundra wheels
    LT285/75R18 Yokohama Geolandar G015 A/T tires
Blue Sea Systems fuse block and with 100A input breaker
    NorthStar battery
    Odyssey battery
    King 2.5 shocks
    Rigid Industries LED flood lights
    VisionX 6.7" ADV Light Cannon
    Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller
SPC Light Racing Upper Control Arms
    Weather Guard toolbox
probably some other stuff that I'm not thinking of...

Before I modified it too much (but after I removed the 20" wheels that it came with):

The failure of a Nitto Exo Grappler after 38,000 rough miles:

It was time for some new rubber:
    DSCF5385.jpg

    Re-painted the tow hooks:
    DSCF2727.jpg

I replaced some damaged interior trim pieces that I mangled up a little bit and installed some LED lighted switches to replace the incandescent lighted switches:

The old compressor was mounted in the driver side frame rail and a little more exposed than the new bracket and larger (CKMA12) compressor:

I put some grip tape in the stowage area behind the seats:

There's more to come with this thread, but I will leave this here:

Thank you; back seats are for people with kids...

My only regret is not throwing that tape back there sooner. It's amazing how nice it is to have that there.

    Thank you!

I tossed my original rubber floor mats in the back, they work for traction under the miscellaneous objects too!

I just "debadged" the truck. Even after I remove the last of the adhesive I think that this might stick out...

I added a single VisionX 6.7" Light Cannon to my truck to replace the two flood pattern cubes from Rigid. I also re-routed some of the accessory grounds for components I installed to the cab from the auxiliary fuse block to have fewer wires going through the firewall along with replacing the old wiring harness for my lights. It would seem that I stretched the cabling too far with how I installed it and was getting a high contact resistance as measured from each Deutsche plug to the lights (~14.4 kΩ). The harness started to work normally again after I pulled it out so I suppose that I'll just use it for testing purposes at this now.

One day I rough calculated (guesstimated) that my truck weighed about 5280 lbs empty-ish.
