The chrome is lifting off on the plastic on my grill

Either the chrome or the metal under the chrome is no longer sticking to the plastic on my 07. So this spring it'll be time to swap it out. The headlights are too far gone to save as well (both cloudy lens and the reflectors are starting to peal inside the lights). So it's time for a new look that's not going to break the bank.

I'm not an LED fan which is pushing me towards HID lights. I think I'm going to keep the chrome since the bumper and other parts are. I rarely drive the truck (maybe 1000 a year) but I want a look that's more aggressive. What options are there for the '07 and what's different about the '10. I wouldn't mind something like the gen 2.5 grill. If needed I can replace/ paint the inserts under the headlights.

I'll take a picture tomorrow so you can see what I'm working with.

TRD pro look-alike, or diy custom cuz fun.

I did diy custom since I like a black truck with chrome accents, but color match is never the wrong thing to do.

There will be a dozen with sequoia conversions and pro replicas (my favorite if going color match)

The 2010+ grille has a different shape than the early trucks, and requires some factory brackets and fasteners to upgrade.

    Have fun!

And I would love to have a custom HID projector setup, but I'm lazy and went Morimoto LED. Love em.

I also like the TRD Pro look alike. With the Alpharex headlights I have subsequently installed, my truck can pass for a much newer vehicle.

    There it is!

Very good option... Probably flows a bit better than my steel insert for better cooling and mpg
