How in God's name can you think your gas mileage will not be completely trashed with this insanity of an add-on. What the F&%K are you thinking. Tow hooks on a 2022. I'm sure you just murdered you mileage by .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 per/mile.IMG_1448.jpg

I think if you use 0w20 full synthetic you can ad aftermarket tow hooks

Wait what? The 3rd Gen Tundra doesn’t have tow hooks? This is the first I’ve heard of this!!!

Next your gonna tell me some bullshit like it has a more powerful TT V6.

This just literally happened. Blown away!!

But they are painted red. That makes them more aerodynamic. Couple that with the fact that some holes in the bumper and grille have been plugged by lights creating a single plain for the air to flow across and he's actually gaining MPGs, power, and speed. Truly keen observers will notice that this wise owner has attached a large trailer to the truck to slow him back down to speeds where he might reasonably be able to avoid 47 mailboxes and careening off a cliff. No guarantees with these mods, but he may just survive owning it.

I've never heard of it either. No tow hooks!? Somebody should create a thread to discuss this conspiracy!

Red tow hooks are the truck equivalent of nipple rings.

    Too many, but not enough....
Quick, peek through the grille and make sure there's a tranny cooler....

In all seriousness, what about a factory drivers side grab handle?

Yeah, it's a little on the small side if you like to wrap an entire mitt around it. I can fit my hand in no problem, I wear size large Mechanix gloves but can squeeze into mediums so I have small-ish hands. I generally only grip the grab handles with my fingers though, so it wasn't something I spent alot of time looking at or worrying about. We were in and out of the truck a dozen times during our test drive and beyond the initial "oh yeah, somebody mentioned the handle being small. Let's check it out", I didn't even think about it. Grab handles were high on The Woman's priority list and she never once mentioned the size.

I think people who are used to stuffing their whole hand in there will either adapt or wait for the aftermarket to come up with a solution.

Just as long as they are attached to the transmission cooler, everything will be alright.

Guys all of these trans cooler, tow hooks, and "oh shit" handles topics have been beat to death.

If 75W-80 is good enough for the diff, it's good enough for the engine.

It's a Toyota, no oil needed. Engine is perfect, oil is just an accessory.

People buy trucks that have zero chance to be efficient, then keep posting about things related to MPG. Too funny.

The driver’s side grab handle also doubles as a tow hook. Change my mind.

Naw man you notice it if you work out of your truck. In the last couple months I went from a worn 4x4 gas f250 with mud tires on it to a diesel 2wd with street tires on it.

I definitely do not miss filling up the gas.

These V6 turbo’s have been great as well. Having a couple ecoboosts previously.

I really look forward to when Hybrids become more available and cut down on the motor idle hours running the HVAC. I think that F250 has 10,000 hours on it, 90k miles.
