Seems like great people here! I’ve had a couple of folks reach out to welcome me already. I’m in the process of trying to get to know my Tundra now. Today it rolled for the first time on Salt covered roads, as I bought this truck from Tennessee and I live up in Indiana in the rust belt. I hate it but it is what it is for now.
I want to take very good care of this truck and treat it like my baby, so it will take me a while to figure out what I need to do to it.
Thanks again to the friendly folks who have reached out! Pleasure to be here!

Thanks guys! Today I had a bed cover installed it’s a “Revolver X4s Rolling Tonneau cover. (Hard) by BAK Industries
My Ram had a Trifecta 2.0 by Extang (soft folding sectional)
I liked the Trifecta a lot. I think I’m gonna love the BAK.
Saturday I’m getting 4 new Michelin AT tires from a place called Belle Tire. This truck has Cooper 35’s on it and they look cool but they rub.
I’m returning to the stock size tire in the stock size wheel which is 20”.
Monday she has an appointment at a wonderful local dealership group here in central Indiana called Tom Wood Toyota. Awesome service department!
Looking at switching back to stock light bulbs. (I’m a stock guy). The last guy put some LED’s in some spots which causes them to flash fast like there’s a light out. I could’ve fixed that with a resistor, but I’m going back to good old incandescent bulbs.
The engine 156,779 miles, has a situation where when you start it up cold, it sounds fine for a bit. Then it starts sounding like a diesel metallic clacking, and grinding. Then that sounds starts and stops like an A/C compressor cycling on and off. Then after a couple minutes it smooths out and sounds great. I heard this is a standard Tundra thing with the 5.7? It scared me to death the first time I heard it, but once she’s warm life is good.
