Text messages wont appear

This is probably a dumb assed question but, my Taco did it now my Tundra is. I cannot get my phone to connect to the media player to detect and show my text/e-mail messages.

Yes i have tried connecting and running the wizard of "Run Message Connect" still doesn't work. have gone through my phone looking for connections. Tried this cord connected and with Bluetooth. still nothing.

Someone else must have run into this, the phone is an I-Phone 11 Pro.

I've never had luck with my phone connection on my 2018. Sometimes messages show up, sometimes they don't. Sometimes my phone connects for music, sometimes it doesn't.

Just turned on the Show Notification in Bluetooth and it seams to have worked.

I get this for all my texts going out.

Texts coming in seem to work fine.

It worked well for a long time, then all of a sudden I can't send out replies

Any ideas?
