When I first got my truck the PCS system activated occasionally pulling up to traffic lights, the red warning would illuminate on the info center. At this point I disabled it using the steering wheel buttons. My understanding is that the system will reset to default settings after the vehicle is turned off and back on.
Well I checked the information screen many times since then and the system is NOT disabled, but I cannot get it to activate. I will hit the person in front of me if I try. Do not get me wrong I do not rely on the system at all, but it can be handy in a real emergency.
I checked the sensor and there is no debris or dirt in the way.
The radar cruise control works as it should.
There are no warnings or error messages.
Anyone know of a way to safely test the system?
My confidence in the dealer being able to help is not high.

    Alot of them
I don't know why it would go off pulling up to a traffic light. I would have it tested especially if the radar cruise works like it should. Nothing blocking the camera view in the windshield?

I will have them check it at the next service for sure. nothing is obstructing the windshield or the grill.

Why do you not have confidence that the dealer will help or be able to fix it? Is there another dealer in the area you can take it to?

You would be wise to read the owners manual. I almost ran over my kid a couple times trying to test it (not lol). A number of parameters must be met before it engages, being over 20 mph for ???? time, no using the brake in so much time??? One of the menus has a green circle that illuminates as the system gets closer to being active. It not just stop if someone jumps out in front of you but you only going 5 mph and never reached 20 mph before coasting down.

For what it's worth I did, I did not see the information you are referring. I'm not saying your wrong, I am saying I missed it. Care to provide a reference for this information in the 2020 Manual, so I can read it.
