It's not just bad, it's ridiculously poor all the time. I am not talking about driving into tunnels, parking decks or other seriously congested areas, I am losing signal under tiny trees when I can see wide open sky all around me.

I did search, most threads about this are 2 years or more old, so I figured I'd fish around and see if anyone has come up with any solutions? Is it the Entune system? The antennae Toyota uses? What can I do to improve it?

Just got out of an F150, NEVER lost satellite signal and I'm traveling the exact same routes.....

Weird, I never had any issues like that when mine was active. Even when I was pulled in under something solid like a bank awning or even pulling into the garage it would still work. I wonder if something changed between the '17 and the '19 in that department?

I have a lot of the same issues you are reporting in my '17. I'd be interested in seeing what peeps have to say about it.

That's interesting...figure things only improve over time with this type of tech. Wouldn't have ever figured it would be this bad, it is by far the worst satellite signal issue I've ever had since Sirius/XM became a thing. Talking 15-25% signal drop rate on my commute to/from work.

I wonder if there is a wiring issue somewhere? It almost sounds like a corroded connection or something.

I had a similar issue with an added on radio. The satellite antenna was damaged and after replacement everything was good.

Maybe I'll just take it to the dealer for warranty. Or maybe there's a software update for the stereo, those have been common in the past.

My truck came with that crappy sirius xm as well. It never worked from day 1. No matter what i did, could not get it to work. No worries i Use an MP3 anyways. The worst part was they would send me some junk in the mail boasting about how great it is and trying to sell me more useless junk. I still cant get rid of the solicitors.

Maybe check the antenna on the roof too - my wife's old Camry had an issue where XM would die for a day or two after going through the carwash and found out the seal under the antenna was shit.

Had same issues with my 2018 Tundra....even in wide open spaces, took it to a dealer to be fixed 3 times, not yet resolved. I’m curious to see if they find the problem after the warranty runs out

All chrome gone, pro grill, KC ditch light and bluetooth wireless controller.
I have an 18 Limited and it goes in and out all the time. Very annoying.

Well, I'm following this thread since my '18 that I just bought is doing same. Never had a problem with my Silverado or Ram, besides the obvious tunnel times.

I am wanting to mount a magnetic Sirius XM antenna on my roof to get better reception, but I can't figure out where it plugs into my head unit. the plugs don't match and I can't find any info on adapters that will work. Is the GPS antenna separate from the Sat antenna? Is the silver box under the driver's seat actually the Sat receiver?
I have a 2007 Tundra Crewmax with JBL system. Any info would be much appreciated.
