I have been reading a lot of the forum and I see a lot about techstream, so i went to Ebay to look for it. Well it seems like a lot of what i see there seems to be specific for particular Models, Lexus, Scion, etc. And they list years too. Are these units specific to type and year of car. I havent seen any that are specific to my 2016 Tundra. Can I just buy any of them?

Also there are two types I see 16 and 22 pin, which is the one I should get for my truck?
