I learned today that when driving with the tailgate down, the tailgate cables are a little long for the open position. The quick disconnect cable mechanism and pin rattle pretty bad with no load on the tailgate. Reminds me of the door rattle on a 90's model pickup when the striker bushing would ware down.

Don't do much open tailgating but I think I am even getting some rattle in closed position. Any suggestions? As of now, the best I have is a loop of black electrical tape..
