Very nice, I've been kicking this around for camper entry steps, I'm not sure I have enough tailgate exposed to pull it off. Does it just attach to the access cover?

Do you think it could be stored vertically against the back of a camper instead of laid down across the tailgate?

I do think you would be able to mount to the back of a trailer vertically. Although, I don't think that's the intended purpose...

I have a slide in (6 foot long, but on a crewmax) that covers about 2/3 of my tailgate. The idea is mount it like yours but stow it against the back of the camper since I don't have room to lay it down. Thanks for the link, I'll know in a couple days for sure if it'll work out.
I think it'll be perfect since the only part that isn't covered happens to be that access cover.

Thanks for sharing. I have been carrying a HF foldable single step in the back, but I have been looking for something like this with wide stable steps. I have one on the way now.

    Thanks for sharing!

One of my most missed features of my old F-150 is the integrated step in the tailgate. So useful!

Bought the under bumper fold out step. Works great and does not take up any space.

Not something I would want yet, maybe as I aged. I am curious as to if it rattles around as you drive? Or is it nice and snug. Small noises drive my crazy when I am driving and can't stop them.

It has a sinch strap that secures it to the tailgate. Virtually rattle free. I've seen some reviewers that have added additional pads to keep the steps from touching the tailgate as that may become an area that may rattle. But, as of now, it's been quiet.

That was a thought of mine as well, and the pricepoint was similar, but the ladder idea sold me on it. Having a bum knee and the single tuck up step..... you get my point.

I took the opportunity today due to a bit of warmer weather to complete a few modifications on the Grey Goose. One of the mods was the installation of this truck bed ladder. I appreciate you sharing the product.

One thing that I learned during the install was to watch where you screw the base plate. I marked the holes and took the panel off to see where I was going....well two screws were going right for the locking mechanism rod.

The ladder looks sturdy and operates really smoothly in all directions. The cost point was in the ball park. I used to have the rear fold out step in my other Tundra and even used a foldable step from HF. Due to recent surgeries, I am in need of more than one step to get into the bed. This fits the bill.

    Thanks for sharing your find!
