tailgate buzzes when locking truck with remote

2019 White Tundra 4x4 TSS

Tailgate gives off a loud buzzing sound (simultaneously with the horn chirp) when locking the truck using the remote button on the ignition key. WTF? At first I thought it was locking and unlocking the tailgate, but no, that's not what is happening. Anyone else experience this?
