    Hello everyone.

I'm working on a 2007 Tundra. Issue is that it immediately blows tail light fuse when replaced. It's had aftermarket tail lights and other lighting accessories installed some time ago, all of which I disconnected. I've traced all wiring harness from under-hood junction box on pass. fender, to rear of the truck which I completely disconnected. I've found no evidence of corrosion or shorted wiring. I did find that if I disconnect either of the 2 connectors, one being for trailer wiring and fuel pump at the front junction box, it won't blow any fuses. I've even gone as far as removing interior fuse box/module to no avail. Any further help or direction from the community would be greatly appreciated.

    THANKS in advance

first thing to do, if you don't have it is download the wiring diagram here https://www.tundras.com/threads/ultimate-tundra-wiring-diagrams-collection.81448/

Second is you need to better explain what your test conditions are. It sounds like you are saying that the fuse blows even when the lights are off. That would be very odd since it should not have power at that point.

Worked aircraftfor almost 20 years and when searching for a short you split the circuit by disconnecting sections. The schematic can show you where this is possibel. Fuse doesn't blow, then the short is past the connection. Still blows, short before the disconnect point.

No magic bullets for this. just tedious methodical troubleshooting.

    Welcome to the forum..

Did the aftermarket tail lights have resistors for the turn signals?
If so, make sure they are removed.

Does the fuse blow without lights and/or ignition key on?
Or does it blow when it receives voltage from the lights?

    Welcome from NY.
I would check the trailer wiring.
