Tail light screws, need help ASAP!

Hi guys.
I installed a pair of Winjet tail lights for my 2019. The right side fits perfectly, while the left side's upper screw won't fit into the hole. It seems like the clip that has two holes on it doesn't match the factory hole since the two hole on the clip goes deeper than the factory one on the tail gate while the tail light is firmly pushed. I had no idea how to tight the screw back into the hole, and now the clip comes with the new tail light has gone. The lower screw was tightly fitted though. Can I remain the upper one unscrewed? Or is there any solutions? Huge thanks!!!

I think it's too difficult to find a way to make the screw fit the whole since there are no treads anymore for it to tighten up. Gonna take it to a body shop tomorrow to see if any solution comes up. The worst case might be the necessity of another pair of tail lights...

 

Where did the clip on the tail light go?

 

I think it became really loose since I tried to tighten the screw for many times, and it might just fell off while I was driving

 

Mixed reviews all over the place with these taillights. Send it back and tell them to fix their product so it fits right. Might have to take one for the team. Thanks
