I prefer wheeling with full mud tires. As well as 37s imo are better than 35s for what type of terrain I ride through. I just couldnt find a 37" mud tire that handles snow and ice well enough to feel safe.
But next year ima go Macgyver and sipe/stud some 37" muds. :fingerscrossed: it works

I thought about siping some 37” MTs also. For now we’re on 37” Toyo RT and they’re ‘ok’ in the snow we have here in Ohio. Dunno about Tahoe though. Haven’t had them in the muck here to see if they’ll work at all off road. I’m starting to assume not based on how fuckin muddy it is everywhere around here.

    Also,
If anyone knows a solid fab guy from the bay area to Reno, Id like to here it. So far it's looking like hot metal fab down in Loomis, or Rockhound Offroad in auburn. They both seem quality. My guy is booked solid for a long enough time to where he couldn't get me an actual window to book.

Any of the Bastrds know? I’m gonna fuck up tagging some of them. @831Tun @joonbug who else? None of the SGU guys are that far north, but I’ll throw @papasmurf @osidepunker and @n2deep in the pile because they stay up to date on this kinda stuff.

Bingo. Did this the other day. 4WD is great fun on frozen roads and shit, but braking was pointless.

EDIT: forgot to ask about the sliders, where'd ya get those from? Like the addition of the grate as top plates.

the problem I am running into with the bumper is maintaining the factory tow rating. I have spoken to quite a few fab guys saying that its not possible to guarantee the structural support needed for the same tow rating the tundra comes with. My idea is starting with a curt class 4 hitch and building off of that. But the one I found is for a Silverado. Heres a pic of the idea...https://www.curtmfg.com/part/14080

There are a couple of threads on here trying to get companies to fabricate high clearance bumpers. Warren has a relocated hitch (Westin?) that you might want to look at as the starting point for something custom.

ya I believe I have read through a few postings. The westin hitch, as well as all other manufactures dor the tundra drop a few inches to go under the bumper.
