Traded in my 2022 Tacoma TRD OR 6spd MT Army Green 5ft bed for a 2020 Quicksand double cab Tundra yesterday.

I loved the MT, but the 5ft bed was all but useless. Parting ways with a vehicle I had only been with for 2 years was surprisingly difficult (any words of wisdom with this are appreciated), but I already love the Tundra and the Quicksand color especially. The ride is better. The power is better. The space is much better even with the double cab. Even the touchscreen and sound system were noticeably better which was surprising for a 2yr older truck. Also, the mpg hit was not bad at all. I averaged 19.9 on the 2-hour drive to the dealership in the taco on stock setup and 19.1 on the way back in Tundra with MTs on! (Wind and traffic may have been in the tundra's favor)

Chrome delete was going to be the first thing I did, but the chrome looks much better in person. So, I think either a canopy or Katzkin seats (heated and cooling maybe?) will be the first thing to happen to the tundra. 20240322_172005.jpg

The MPG will slowly drop... Trust me, I was in the same boat. It wouldn't go higher than 13.5 ish. If you can afford the gas, keep this truck. I loved it and regret getting rid of it because of 400$ a month fuel cost.

    Welcome from NY.

Search @jhuey8947 about Katskin seat covers. John sells Katskins and heating and cooling for great prices.
