My first Toyota truck was a 1995 T100 SR5 4X4Extended Cab that I bought new, I still own it. January 2021 I bought my "new to me" 2016 Toyota Tundra 1794 4X4. It was a search of over 1 1/2 years to find my Tundra, I'm really particular about what I want and what I expect in any vehicle I own. I noticed that the stance of my 4X4 Tundra was lower in front than the rear. It bothered me to see it sitting on an angle. I was used to my T100 4X4 that was just as high in the front as the rear, it came from the factory that way.
SO, I went to my local mechanic that normally works on all my Toyotas and asked for his opinion on the height of my Tundra. After a few turn left, turn right tests he said I had a oil leak on one of my front Bilstein shocks.
Bottom Line, I am looking to replace the front shocks with shocks that will elevate the front by a couple of inches. The front is lower by 3 inches than the back. I know if I lift the front too much it will offset the trucks geography and could possibly cause problems.
That's my story and that's mainly why I'm here at Tundras . Com
Any constructive and professional input is Welcomed.

    Welcome from Georgia.

I replaced my '96 Xtra-Cab 4WD V6 T100 with a 2002 Long bed 4WD V8 Tundra, but I drove both of them for about two years. The T100 rode on 31" Michelins, Bilstein 4600's, and new torsion bars that were cranked just a little so the front sat level with the rear with custom Alcans, and auto air bags. I am actually trying to reacquire this truck...

I notice the same low front end on my 2002, so I replaced the front coils with those off a TRD Off Road 4WD truck with a V8. This raised the front to an acceptable height, and it also rides on Bilstein 4600's. The tires are stock sized 16" Michelins.

    Welcome from NY.

Bilstein 5100's would work, they have 3 settings.

Set it on the middle setting and then you will be level. Some have put it on the top setting and they were level......which I don't understand.
