To the suspension gurus, is a swaybar drop bracket kit necessary when lifting/leveling the front end about 2.5" on coilovers? I notice some kits come with them, some don't. So how necessary is it? Why if so, what happens? 2025 Limited TRD Offroad for reference. Thank you gents.

Just drop that sway bar right off the truck.

The kits that don’t come with the brackets will most likely tell you it needs to be removed. I haven’t lifted my tundra yet but on my 4Runner it was possible to keep the sway bar with no drop brackets but it changed the position of the sway bar and changed the way it handled so I ended up just removing it. If you’re lifting just to make the truck look better and don’t plan on going off road a lot I recommend keeping the sway bar and using the drop brackets. If your going to be spending a lot of time off road and don’t want the sway bar interfering with articulation or traction then just remove it.
