IMG_0451.png Hello All - Needing some help finding a recommended weight distribution hitch with sway control for my horse trailer.

The original I purchased will not work due to the platform on the trailer attached to the coupler (it needs bracketed arms to set the distribution attach points on/tighten up).

Any recommendations for anyone who has towed a trailer with something similar such as this and needing a weight distribution hitch with sway control? Ideally one piece.

    Thanks!

Cut through the platform. I've had to do it on a couple trailers. I just drilled two 1/2" holes and then used an angle grinder to take out the center. Brackets went in like a glove.

Great ideas - thought about looking for one to drill through the bracket, was curious to any that folks have used with good success.

Thanks for the ideas and sending over some links!
