New to trucks/Suspension. I have an ‘08 CrewMax and I’m seeing tons of barely used 3rd Gen suspensions for sale (struts, coils) around me. Could i put those on an ‘08? Or are they just too different? Thanks!

I am not a mechanic but play one in my garage... I believe from what I have seen they are totally different animals. Coils in the rear instead of leafs but looking at the front end they are not much alike

Again, I am not sure but I have not seen any parts at all selling at off road shops that combine a 2.5 and 3rd gen in the same buckets

Anything from an 07-21 is the same, but the 22 and newer is different.
