I am getting confused on suspension lifts for the rear of a truck. How do I run shocks with a new leaf spring? It seems most rear shocks are either 1.5" or 6" and most leaf springs are 2.5 + on lift. I wanted to run 6112s at 1.9" in front and 5160s in back with new leafs but it seams most leafs like the icon (2.5+) and dakars (3) add way to much lift for the 5160s (1.5) to fit correctly. What should I do to make this fit correctly or am I just thinking wrong? Is 1.9 inches in the front not the same as 1.9 in the back? Seems all the numbers are running together and I am getting messed up. What set up are you guys running? I want to just do some light 4x4 offroad and overlanding (BLM loggin roads and fairly taken care of trails). Going to end up with 250-350lbs or static load in bed. Original leafs are shot and need to be replaced. I have BFG KO2 285/75r17 with +1 offset on wheels.

The rear numbers are not always inches.
    For instance, +1 shackles are .6", +2 is 1.25", +3 is 1.75".
No idea why they list them that way, but leafs are probably something similar.
Check the description on what you're looking at and see what the actual lift is once installed.
The Icon leaf pack for your truck starts at 1.75" lift with no weight in the back, or they have an expansion pack that adds 1.5" of lift.
Both should be within the limits of the 5160s if you have extra weight in the bed.

@OnespeedTRD Thanks for the reply. I am seeing quite a few trucks running the 5160s in the rear nd the 6112s in the front @ 1.9" position like I want to do. I think my setup will work just need to find the right leafs to buy now, mine are shot to hell. The Icons will be $720, wish I could find something a bit more affordable. Still, they may be best for the added leaf option that will come in handy when I get my decked system and water system.
