I need some help/advice. I have chased my tail through countless threads and I think I have a plan but want to make sure I’m going in the right direction. I have a 2016 pro with Demello rock sliders and a leitner bed rack. I also tow a small teardrop 1400lbs when I’m loaded up and towing the ass end droops too much for my taste. I would also like about a 1-2 inch lift over stock pro. I use it for some off-roading but it is my daily driver. In the future I see moving up to 33s maybe 35s. My questions/concerns are

    1. I will need shackles either toytec or Coachbuilder seem to be the way to go

    2. Buying a complete set of leaf springs seem to be the best option since I tow. I deciding on Alcan or deaver u748( I have heard these are flattening out after a year recommendations? Will I need to replace pro shocks or can they handle new leaf springs and shackles?

    3. I see people using shims for front will this have a negative affect for off-roading?

    4. I know I will have to get new front shocks any recommendations?

Am I on the right track with my thoughts?

I am having the same Pro squat problem you are having. I purchased a Alcan pack with 500 lbs over capacity. Alcan has been great to work with. Bill will build you whatever you want. My pack is built at stock height.

I run a timbre n set up for my towing needs and remove it when not towing. Factory ride and can carry the weight when needed.
If this isn't for you then I would get your leafs built first. They can add lift so you may not need shackles. If You do then yes the coachbuilder or toytec are great options.
Shims up front are fine and will not have any real affect when offroading.
Why do you need to replace the front. coilovers? Unless you don't want shims and are looking to do some serious offroading I'd leave them
