Hey everyone I got my truck lifted and a bmc done about three months ago . I just noticed that the welds and play are starting to rust . The shop is closed right now due to COVID . Just wondering what's the best option to get rid of it ? Like a rust converter spray over or wire brush and repaint . Wondering what paint matches oem the best haven't found any luck on one particular paint . Thanks

Just surface rust. Get a wire brush and clean it then spray it with black rustoleum paint.

Did my own and it was rusting too. No big. Get rid of rust, clean it up and then shoot some rustoleum paint to it

I dont think it will matter. You'll be the only one to see it. Others wont be looking for it. And it's in the wheel well so it's not going to be seen unless looking for it.

That won’t be the only rust you will see under a Toyota. Just wait.

Doesn't have to be if you're willing to climb underneath, get a little dirty, and protect it with something. If not, you're probably right. ;)

Slap some Por-15 paint on it and the rust will be gone for life
