Looking into either supercharging my 2020 V8 or upgrading to the iforce max? What are your thoughts?

It's an easy decision. $5 - 6k to SC and you're done. Get a 2022 and you get a new monthly payment, higher insurance and property taxes, and are still slower than if you just SC your current ride. IMO, it's worth upgrading to an extended range fuel tank if you SC since the fuel tank has to be dropped to upgrade the pump. Just my 2 cents.

A supercharged v8 will be much more powerful that a twin turbo’d v6. There is so much more potential with a v8.

if you want to keep it stock, then go with the v6. See if you can test drive one and then decide from there.

Leer 100XR truck cap, 5100's on the middle setting. Ikon Add A leaf, Cooper Discover ATX3 275/70/18, Genuine Cooling Systems transmission cooler, chrome delete.
I am looking for a new Magnuson including the fit kit. Don't want a used one. Do you have a source for $5k to $6k? Everywhere I am looking is around $8k. I would pull the trigger at $5k.

Hook me up with a 5-6k supercharger lol. Go SC op, I don’t think there is any aftermarket turbo upgrades on the new 3rd Gen.
Realistically you’ll probably end up spending 10k for the supercharger with all the necessary adds ons for the kit.

D3 Performance, it's in my side of town and they also do good work. Probably replace the pulley while I'm at it. Pay once, Cry once :spending:

There were a few refurbished SCs with complete install kits available last year on eBay at that price when I jumped on one (not all from the same seller), but I see that's no longer the case. Sorry.

I must say if max performance is your goal it’s really not close. A supercharged 2nd gen is a full 2 seconds quicker in the 1/4 mile.

D3 did my Stage 2 & tune. Tell Dennis Hello.

not sure if they do any install work...mostly tunes.

my Harrop install was @ Peitz performance...only because Prospeed was booked.

you will be ~$10k into a stage 2.

    but the S/C is awesome.

don't bother with stage 1....the upgrade to stage 2 (80mm pulley+650's) is negligible*.

    *$1200 is negligible, right?

Prospeed is now doing transmission upgrades for SC applications. They upgrade the valve body among other things.
