I have a 2018 Tundra and since the day I bought it the deflector AKA Bezel at the front of the sunroof has been moving or cycling up and down when I have the sunroof completely open. If I close the sunroof slightly the bezel lowers itself preparing to receive the glass and stops moving. With the glass fully retracted it moves up and down intermittently.

Search the site, this is normal. It adjust as you drive to limit noise. Change speeds with it open. You'll notice that's when it does it.

It did kinda freak me out the first time i heard it. I've not had a sunroof for many a year. Unless you count my soft top Wrangler i had.

Thank you all for your response. I agree with what you have said. The General Manager of Toyota called me and told me that it adjusts itself at certain speeds. One of those speeds is 80KM/HR. He didn't even know why it was happening to his. He called an engineer friend of his at Toyota Canada and was explained that it adjusts at certain speeds. It will also do it at higher speeds. The GM agrees that it is annoying but it's designed to do that.
